Gameweek 13 Preview: Matches Coming Thick and Fast

After a 0-0 draw in Saturday’s Manchester Derby, the Old Trafford clash was just the beginning of several surprises for the traditional top sides in the league. Chelsea fell to Everton, while leaders Spurs and champions Liverpool were both held to draws by Crystal Palace and Fulham respectively. Mourinho’s Tottenham and Klopp’s Reds are still level at the top on points and go head to head at Anfield in a Wednesday night spectacular this gameweek.

With just seven points separating the top ten sides, however, it is worth noting that matches will be played from tonight (Tuesday) all the way through to Thursday — making for a busy midweek. First up, Chelsea travel to Wolves, who like The Blues, were also beaten at the weekend. Manchester City will look to get back to winning ways with a home game against West Bromwich Albion in the late kickoff, while tomorrow’s fixtures see struggling Arsenal kick things off against an in-form Southampton side.

With tomorrow being a public holiday for us, the gameweek comes at a good time with Everton, Leicester, Newcastle and Fulham all in action as well before that colossal top of the table clash at Anfield.

On Thursday, Aston Villa take on Burney before Manchester United travel to Bramall Lane — knowing that The Blades have just a single point in the league thus far.

For all our Fantasy Premier League managers, a reminder that the Gameweek 13 deadline is at 18:30 on this evening.
