1 kg boneless mutton or beef, cut into cubes

1 cup yogurt

2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons red chili powder

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon garam masala powder

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder

1/4 cup oil

Salt to taste

Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Lemon wedges for garnish

Method

In a large bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, and salt to make a marinade.

Add the mutton or beef cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the marinated meat cubes and cook until they are tender and cooked through, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Once the meat is cooked, increase the heat to high to get a nice char on the meat, then remove from the pan.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and lemon wedges. Serve hot with naan, roti, or as an appetizer.
