Pao de Agua (Portuguese Bread)
A delicious bread, quick to make and gets eaten just as fast. Yummy with lashings of butter and eaten with soup.

Ingredients

240g water

10g Yeast
3
30g Sugar
4
30g Butter
5
500g Bread Flour

10g Salt

Method

In a mixer: Add Yeast to lukewarm water then butter and sugar and mix till incorporated. Add flour and salt then knead for 8-10 min. Rest for 30 min in a well oiled bowl in a warm place. Tip out on a floured surface gently punch out the dough and divide into 3 balls, place them in a tin greased with butter sized 30cm x10cmX11cm. Rest for another 30 min covered with cling film/tea towel then bake in a preheated oven @180 deg for 30 min

In the Thermomix add water 1min/37deg/speed1, Add yeast, butter and sugar 1min/37deg/speed 1. Add flour and salt 4min/knead. Rest in an oiled bowl in a warm place for 30 min. Rest for another 30 min covered with cling flim/tea towel then bake in a preheated oven @180 deg for 30 min
