Scones

A lovely scone recipe....Flop-proof

Ingredients

2 & 1/2 cups flour

4 tsp baking powder

4-5 tablespoons castor sugar

120g butter softened

1/2 cup double cream yoghurt

1/2 cup milk

1 egg

Method

Place dry ingredients in bowl

Mix wet ingredients together in a jug

To make the dough

Rub butter into flour

Add the wet ingredients

Mix gently to form a soft dough. If needed add more milk

Cut into circles and brush with egg

Bake at 180 degrees till golden brown

Serve with jam, cream & butter
