Spurs One Win Away From Being Champions?

A win at home to Brentford means that José Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur side are just win away from some much desired silverware. A league cup final awaits the North London side in April against either Manchester United or Manchester City; and while their opponents will only be discovered late on Wednesday, following the derby at Old Trafford, Tottenham must now turn their attention to the FA Cup this weekend, where they will take on non-league side, Marine.

Following that encounter, the Premier League Gameweek 18 awaits them. A win against Leeds United at the weekend has helped them back into the Champions League places and there is no doubt that they will now look to push on from that performance.

Harry Kane and company must next make the trip to Birmingham to take on an Aston Villa side brimming with confidence. Villa themselves can move into the top four with a win next Wednesday, while Manchester United take on Burnley in their rescheduled fixture a day before that on Tuesday.

Manchester City, on the other hand, play host to Brighton while Arsenal play Crystal Palace. All the sides playing know just how important good results can be considering that there are just six matches in that gameweek. The leaders Liverpool, Frank Lampard’s Chelsea and third-placed Leicester have already played their games in hand, opening up the title race to those with a gameweek 18 fixture.

The gameweek 18 deadline for Fantasy Premier League managers is on Tuesday evening at 18:30 following the weekend’s FA Cup action. All the fixtures can be found below:
